TRMB, IOT, WEX-Insight Tech Conference and Expo

This is a big event, but almost all the booths are privately held companies.  There are a couple large public companies I didn’t list, like IBM, since they have so many shares outstanding they are not likely to experience any price change that can be tied to this event.  But, the lower float, smaller cap companies could use this event to reverse a selloff (if that is happening to any of them) or as a catalyst to present information that is either new to the public, or under-represented as of yet.

The “runup” traders might look at the charts of the companies in the weeks leading up to the event, to try and find a reversal play that would benefit from rumors sprouting from the upcoming event.  But, the companies we managed to find aren’t all THAT small, so short term price fluctuations leading up to the event could easily be pinned on some other source.
