CRMD, KDNY, ARDX, PROK, KZR-American Society of Nephrology (Kidney Week)

This event lasts until the 5th, and while it is focused on Nephrology, there are a lot of companies attending, and many of the companies have smaller floats, higher volatility, a history of pops and sell-offs, or any combination of the three. Runup traders might find this one to be fruitful, especially for a lower float company that might not get the PR that a lot of other companies can get. However, due to the nature of the event and the wide range of potential audience members (within that limited Kidney scope) due to the number of companies attending, the “Event” traders might find in worth monitoring the volume on these on the first morning of the event, and attempting to catch a spark during the event due to a presentation of some sort, or catch a reversal after a company publicizes some important information about products or development that the market digests as bullish.

Subjectively, we are leaning towards this being more of an Event play than a Runup play, however both groups might have something to monitor in the weeks leading up to, and on the days of the event.
