AEYE, AIRG, WATT, BLNK, CENN, CPTN (See Desc for LONG list) – CES Electronics Show

As far as a catalyst, this ranks up there with Mobile World Congress as being a HUGE event for Event Day traders, and usually big for Runup Traders as well.  It has such a reputation for being the kind of event that attracts new investors that you often see small companies with unfavorable cash situations push out offerings AFTER the event.  So Afterglow traders might be extra cautious with this one.

Runup Traders and Event Traders are going to be interested in the lower float, oversold companies, going into the event.  Companies that like to PR love to talk up CES.  In past years we have seen companies go well over 100% during the runup to the event (only to come back down to earth afterwards).  Event Traders might want to check the floor map to see if some smaller cap companies have booths near the larger ones, who are going to attract a lot of attention to their booth just for the proximity.

In year past there have been tickers that have preformed extremely well for these types of catalysts that just happen to be involved here as well.  WATT, AIRG, BLNK, stand out so far.  We are still working on this list.  We have made it to “K” in the alphabet so far.  Will update ASAP!
