MGOL Messi first Game

Messi’s first game with Inter Miami is bound to be another one of those things that brings more PR to MGOL, and therefor more volume.  The company may need to raise money, so if they become woefully overvalued, the smart management decision for them to make is to dilute.  So be aware of the risks with that.  If Messi ends up making news during the game, and the news persists on TV the next day, then this could become an “Event” trade.  However, it also has the makeup of a “Runup” Trade, where traders buy the rumor and sell the news.  The news, in this case, is Messi’s first game.  The “Rumor” is that Messi’s first game is coming.

Whatever happens, volatility is all but ensured.  If MGOL experiences a steep sell-off in the week or two before the game, and a dip opportunity exposes itself, we will be looking very closely at a short term swing or scalp.  However, if it continues to run, as it has in the weeks since Messi signed with Miami, chasing right before news that everyone expects is a high risk endeavor and “we” (Kyle and his wife) will likely avoid the trade all together.
