Normally an event hosted by an Investment group or bank would not be on the catalyst calendar. We prefer events where the audience are likely to not already be investors in the companies presenting. In this case however, with the crypto market in shambles leading up to the event, any positive PR could help the most oversold of the group get some MOJO back.

Runup traders would likely be monitoring bitcoin prices, since most the crypto miners still are bitcoin centric. They would also want to keep up with the SEC filings, in particular any Form 4 or 13G filings leading up to the event. It would be a little “grey area” for an insider to do such a thing, but the grey area can be tested and has been by other companies in this sector.
